Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, is a powerful, evidence-based approach designed to help individuals heal from trauma and distressing experiences. EMDR integrates aspects of cognitive therapy with bilateral stimulation, typically through guided eye movements, to facilitate the processing of traumatic memories.
