Young adulthood is a period of significant transition, including moving away from home, starting college or a career, and forming new relationships. Therapy can help young adults navigate these transitions by providing support, guidance, and coping strategies to manage stress and uncertainty effectively.
My approach with young adults is based on supporting my clients with developing coping skills, improving self-esteem and self-confidence, addressing mental health concerns, exploring identity and self-discovery, improving relationships, enhancing problem solving skills, and providing validation and support.
I offer young adults a non-judgmental space to express themselves, process their experiences, and receive validation and support. This validation can be instrumental in reducing feelings of isolation and shame.
